ARP Wheel Studs
« on: October 28, 2013, 09:30:53 PM »
Are these the correct ARP wheel studs for the Kappa hub?

I want to keep the factory M12X1.5 thread.

Not sure if that's the right size.  DDM sells a full set for the car you might check with them. The ones you link to is a set of 4, you'll need 5 per wheel.  Also keep in mind the ARP are longer so you will need new lug nuts too.

I don't remember anymore but I think it was the rear set for Miata. Compare the knurl size.

I tried to confirm but haven't heard back, but I think the ones DDM sells are imperial threads 7/16-20 and I want to keep the stock M12X1.5 thread.

I already have the open end lugs nuts I need, just trying to confirm the studs.

What am I comparing the knurl size too?

The ones DDM sells are metric thread.  Maybe Wartie can jump in here as DDM replaced his at the mod meet, he may have the old ones he can measure.

I will measure one late tonight. I keep a set of old ones in each car, but I don't have either car with me right now.

Better yet just get them from DDM, support our vendors!!!

Looks like it's slightly more than 14.5mm

You'll need a set of mics calibrated in millipeters for GJ, just saying.

I measure my tax basis in millipeters.
