RMR rollbar for sale - but it ain't easy
« on: November 15, 2013, 10:34:51 AM »
Many of you have expressed interest in buying my RMR rollbar, and instead of writing a long response to each of you over PM I'm going to write it once here.

If you look at this thread you can see the install process: http://www.solsticeforum.com/forum/f11/rmr-style-bar-installed-42714/

You can also see that some parts need to be drilled which is not reversible without replacing those parts. From what I see it is the entire "tulip" the silver part that goes across, and the two flaps that move when the top goes up and down. So I could give you the drilled parts but you have to send me back the parts for replacement, or buy the replacement parts for my car.

I also have no idea what is involved in the replacement of the parts, so I'm not sure I can even do it myself.

Ideally you will come to me, take the bar off and put everything back on my car correctly. Another option would be to wait for the next Mod Meet and see if someone will help you, or pay for the labor to have a shop do it.

If you are interested, please let me know and give me a price offer. The bar with harness bar was $525 new plus a few hundred for installation.

GLWS! Beats the hell out of a $2500 roll bar install.
