Hey bill also as I just installed ur intercooler on my sky. I came over from the DSM side and had a Hahn as well. But while ur talking about revising. I had issues with reusing the stock bracket front bracket and ended up making my own as I did not like how they contacted the I/C so from a consumer side I would suggest making custom brackets with your kit.
We're supportive of the fact that some enthsiasts may customize their installations to suit their own preferences.  As long as such revisions don't affect the function or life of the product, we're on board.   Thanks for your input!

Hey Bill,

Understand, with the bracket it just seemed to want to pinch the I/C instead of brace it/hold it in place, even when using them in the flipped direction as instructions said and I did not like how it was contacting the fins. So I got 2 pieces of metal and drilled and bent them to lay flush on the I/C.
