Rocker Panel Protection Kit

Any experience and suggestions here with Rocker Panel Protection Kits?  My garage queen needs a little protection...Clear Skies!

I had the clear bra material installed down the rockers and in front of the back wheels when the car was new. Still looks good, although the material is taking a bit of a beating. Better the material than the paint.
Just trying to do my part...

Mods: Lose the chicklets, VentureShield, Dual horns, AfterShock spoiler, Weathershield cover, Lil Chromies, Red calipers with black Solstice stickers, Opel GT antenna and Solo GXP-RCD exhaust with a Solo hi-flow cat!

GMPP did a thick clear bra kit too.  I put it on myself when I got may car, not too difficult (not like a full nose kit is).
