What's the deal with Trifecta?
« on: May 23, 2014, 08:41:57 PM »
What's the deal with Trifecta?

I ordered a supercharger from DDMworks last month and I'm now concerned about having Trifecta tune it. In addition to the supercharger I want to install a water meth injection system. I sent Vince an email requesting information on how to proceed, but haven't heard anything back. I've found others complaining about his lack of response in the last 6 months. All this makes me uneasy about using Trifecta to tune my car with.

Has anyone recently got a tune from Trifecta?

Why not have DDM tune it?

That's what I was thinking. I'll call him Tuesday and ask. The kit comes with the Trifecta tune, I hope he'll tune it for me instead of Trifecta. I've been freaking out tonight looking at posts on other bulletin boards and trying to get info off Trifecta's site.

Thanks for the input.

I see that the kit comes with the Trifecta tuning but DDM Dave is a great guy that will make sure you are taken care of and not left without a tuner.

If Dave can tune it, I have no doubt that he'll take care of you.

I haven't been in touch with Vince recently, so don't know if he is away/preoccupied or something.  You'd be going through DDM for the Trifecta tune for the kit, though, so why don't you just take your run files once it is up and running with the basic tune and forward them to DDM and let them be the intermediary for you. Vince can then send them an updated tune after looking at your files and they can send it on to you.  We aren't talking about much wasted time there.

As an alternate to Trifecta Dave has agreed to tune my DDM Works Stage II supercharger with water meth injection. I've bought a copy of HPTuners so I can create the logs and send to him for the fine tuning.  :woohoo:
