Tried to read the TPMS and although it took likely 20 seconds to read it, it did read on the Volt, once. Can't get it to read again but it reads almost instantly on the Solstice.

Have to play around with it a bit more when the batteries have a chance to fully charge.

Regardless it was worth it even if I can't get it to work reliably with the Volt and yeah I know, you told me so.

Just trying to do my part...

As I said I've been away, so got to open the box today.  After three hours charging (not really enough, so it's back charging now) I tried it out and it works like a champ! Programmed all my sensors - which had been partially mucked up the last time at the dealer. I had tried the pressure up/down method before, but could never get it to work. This is SO, SO, much easier.

Quick tip: when setting the vehicle type on the tool, use the "up" button to select both Pontiac and then Solstice, since they're down near the bottom of the lists. Ditto Saturn and Sky :)

I went to the site, but you have to login with a user/password.  May only be for dealers

If someone gets the update software, could you post it up on one of the various sharing sites?
