Torque spec for band clamp on turbo.

Anyone know the Torque Spec for the Band Clamp on the Stock Turbo?

Anyone know the Torque Spec for the Band Clamp on the Stock Turbo?

Are you talking about the clamp that holds the center cartridge to the exhaust housing? or one of the clamps on the charge tubes?

I looked in the manual and there is nothing I could find since they do not go over turbo rebuilding. Typically though on those band clamps we tighten them down until snug and they will hold fine. Are you rebuilding your turbo? Just wondering why you had it loose, as it can be a real pain to get that cartridge to loosen and come out of the turbine housing sometimes.

Have a buddy that wants to rebuild his and wanted to know.   He was just going to switch cartridges.
