Also, the new short shifter is officially up on the website for ordering. We anticipate that the production batch will be here next Friday or the following Monday. ORDERED!! Woot, woot! So, Dave, I looked at the installation instructs... Is there a way to get the factory rubber boot off first, so you don't have to cut it? |

You could do it though by removing the entire plastic around the shifter, then drilling out the rivets, removing the rubber, installing the kit, riveting the rubber back down and then installing back the plastic. |

Once I do another install here I am going to post up another picture of the boot after install, the next time it will be cleaner, I was honestly a little excited and quick to install that one on our test car ;) |
