2003 Ford T-Bird
« on: September 02, 2014, 12:45:06 AM »
A very good friend of mine has decided she is ready to part ways with her treasured T-Bird. I put a feeler out about 6 months ago, but she never sent pics. She says she is finally "emotionally unattached" now and can let the car go.

Car has less than 9,000 miles. V-8 with premium package and three roofs. (Hard top, convertible and bikini). I saw the car about two months ago. It's as close to perfect as it gets. Everything is original except one tire (sidewall puncture).

If anyone is interested or knows anyone that might be, please PM me.

Here are the basic pictures:

Obviously correctly spelt by someone from the "old country".  (You damn colonials!)

Wonder why these cars never caught on?

There is one that parks at my building and the owner put ginormous wheels with band aid tires on it and I never know whether to laugh or wince when I see it.

PS - civilised nations spell it 'grey'.  Did you ever ride in a Grayhound?

No, I can afford a car of my own.

Elff has a few grayhounds doesn't he?

Far be it from me to hijack a GJ thread.

The platform is a pain in the ass. I owned a Lincoln LS, which is the same platform. They are great cars when you consider how inexpensive they are to buy, but you HAVE to be prepared and willing to fix several shortcomings repeatedly. Bang-for-the-buck is there, but reliability is not.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this but...

I'm sitting in the PHX airport with a 2.5 hour layover. I've challenged the bartender to make Rye drinks I've never had. So far I'm up 2-0
He must be an amateur. He started with a Manhattan and went to an Old Fashion. Does he think I'm a ROOKIE?

You missed one or didn't you want to derail your own thread?
