My Solstice LNF 2.0 to LT1 V8
« on: September 11, 2014, 09:04:28 PM »
As you all can see my conversion is in my opinion the best of both worlds.

The Pontiac engineers and designers did a remarkable job on the Solstice.
The GXP LNF 2.0 engine with the KO4 turbo (mine is a bit modified) and a tune(from DDM), plus the suspension upgrades makes this iconic roadster, a pleasure to drive, and it will always be a head turner for years to come.

The new Stingray (mine is a 2015) Z51/3LT/7M Magnetic ride suspension, Crystal Red with Kalahari interior, PDR (front recording camera system), plus a few other extras is the best Corvette to come out of GM.

No, I am not an Autox guy. Did that a long time ago for a couple of years.
Also did for a few years the 1/4 thing, had a 1964 Vette prep for it, also had a small dragster, but got to expensive and sold it.

There is however a sports track here in town and I may take it there.

Very NICE color combination! I also like the non-symmetrical setup with different handles and speaker setups for the driver and passenger. If I couldn't live without one, I'd probably get the exact same setup.

Thanks to all for the good words.
One thing I have noticed is my Tuned DDM Solstice is a tad quicker when going through 1st,2nd,3rd,4th and shifting each time at 4K RPM.
I know the 2015 Stingray is faster, once you get into the higher RPM's, but is interesting how the turbo pushing full torque at a lower RPM and the lower weight of the Solstice gets the edge at the lower RPM's.
Also the driving experience goes hands down to the Stingray although the Solstice can put a good effort but it just not enough.
