I can't remember, specifically, whether it looked washed out, uneven, or both.  I dug through all of my old pictures just now, but I guess I didn't take any of the result.  It might have just been a color mis-match between the gauges (lit with LEDs from Black Cat) and the HVAC knobs (lit with incandescent and plastic "filters").

Minor question...
Installing These T4.2 LED`s... well... How do you know which way to install them?

Leave the back off, try the LEDs one way and plug the outer connectors directly onto the controller circuit board (make sure you connect them the same way as the cutouts in the back panel) and turn the parking lights on to test.
If they don't work, turn the LEDs round and try again :)

Did this mod yesterday on the Sky all the other dash lights have already been changed to red. I bought online some theater lighting gel sheets in red, made the conversion very easy without changing the bulbs. ;)

New LEDs work great.

I'm doing the other switches etc...  I'm taking the LEDs off the twist lock mount and using them in place of the bulbs on the other switches.  Already completed the left door lock, mirror control, fog light, traction control and right now I'm working on the left window switches.
