"Shorter" exhaust hangers?
« on: October 21, 2014, 02:09:54 AM »
Hey Guys,

I wondered if you could suggest "shorter" hangers for your Mach exhaust? I just want the tips to be about 2cm "higher", meaning closer to the bumper.

First I thought about using silicone ones, but the ones I suggest to be "small enough" are simple rings, and to be honest I don`s really think they will stay in place...

Any suggestions anyone?

You're looking for shorter rubber insulator back there? How about one that's adjustable, would that work? Have you tried loosening the clamps around the pipes, repositioning them higher and tightening the clamps back up?

Try bending the shorty hangers down which will lift up on the exhaust?

That may be the best idea tbh. :yay:
Should have thought about that on my own. I don`t know if the phrase is common with you, but in German I´d say:
I didn`t see the wood for the trees.

UK is "can't see the wood for the trees" as well.

And here in Central Hellinois it would be, what are trees?  All I can see is corn, maybe soybeans.

Do Palm trees count? They are neither wood nor trees. There actually much more closely related to grass...
