Sol Asylum:
There is a lot of oil on them so it's hard to say.  Sometimes you will see a blue or green tint on the valves possibly even a line that runs around the valve.  The discoloration comes from the material the valve is made from actually burning off which would be a pretty good indication of a lean mixture issue.  The color changes depending on the metal alloy the valve is made from.

If you find discoloration don't reuse the valves.
LatinVenom:
Maybe is the picture but cylinder one seems to not have as much carbon deposits as the rest of the other ones.

I'm aware of that, until now if the guys from the shop would have spot any discoloration (valves, head, pistons) they would inform me by now, but except some carbon deposits on the pistons they didn't said anything, actually they reported that there were no signs of lean mixture (checked also spark plugs), also everything on the head will be re-inspected when installing the valve spings

I think what we see in the last picture with the valves and head are much more affected by the oil blow by from the moment of the failure on the track, I had to drive it up to the pits and outside of the track area and up on the trailer.

Does anybody have the book at hand? I tried to search for mine and I couldn't find it in my house  :idk:
I'm trying to find the information about valves especially when upgrading the engine, I think I remember information about springs.
IBDRINKEN:
I thought the build book said they used ferrea valves or I could be wrong
