Loosen the OEM seats by using a 15MM wrench and/ or socket to remove 4 nuts per seat that fasten the seats to the floorboard. A T50 torx bit is needed to remove the seat belt from the OEM seat bracket. Disconnect the wire harness (1 per seat) and remove the seat from the car.

All that was needed from the OEM seat was the four "hold down" brackets. I used 3 drill bits (started with a 1/8") to step up to the size necessary to drill out the steel rivets (8 per seat). Also need to retain the wire harnesses from both seats to retain the seat belt "buckled" function. Driver's side will lose height adjustment function and passenger side will lose the passenger detection sensor array/ module.

The assembly instructions for the Cipher seats were vague and the pictures and illustrations were too dark to tell how to assemble them. However, I was able to figure it out in short order. If someone buys these seats and needs clarification I can help. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pics of seat assembly other than of how I attached the Cipher slider rails. I attached them using the supplied black oxide socket head cap screws and spacers (4 EA per seat).

I then attached the four hold down brackets retained from the OEM seat onto the Ciper sliders using 4 EA GR8 1/4-20 bolts, flats, locks, and nuts. I will probably upgrade this hardware to 3/8" for a little more robust attachment hardware. I measured the studs (center to center) that were in the floorboard of the car to get the proper spacing necessary for the hold down brackets to be set at. Driver side seat shown below.

My next issue was figuring out how to attach the seat belts back into the car. A quick trip to Lowes to find some angle iron did the trick. I ended up buying a 3' length of 14GA 2-1/4" x 1-1/2" angle. and cutting 2 brackets (4.75"L) per seat based on the OEM bracket removed from the driver seat. I used a uni-bit to widen the holes for the floor stud to pass through and the seat belt attachment hardware. Brackets for passenger side shown below.

From there it was a simple matter of putting everything back together. I re-installed both wire harnesses and coiled any excess underneath. I attached the seat belt buckle and receiver to the 4.75"L brackets using GR8 3/8-16 bolts, flats, locks, and nuts and angled them into position. I set the completed assemblies onto the rear mounting studs. I'll have to go back and paint the brackets later. I may also get thicker gauge angle iron and drill out the 2 holes needed instead of using what I did on this initial install. Passenger side shown below.

Then, I set the seats in and fastened them back down with OEM nuts and a 15MM wrench/ socket. Additional pictures of passenger side below to show clearances.

The seats fit well and rub the door and center subwoofer enclosure just a little bit. One other thing I noticed was that the seat will not be able to slide forward past where the seat back recline handle is located because the OEM door sill assembly is in the way. I'm 5'7" and it just makes it to the position I need it to be set at.

Again, I cannot express how pleased I am with the quality of the seats considering their price point and how well they ended up fitting in the car.

Do these seats sit lower than OEM seats? I'm looking for a way to gain some headroom.

I didn't take a height measurement of the OEM. It does seem to sit a tad lower, but I'm not sure how much. 1 - 2" maybe? If you can measure the OEM seat height, I'll measure my seat height and we can get a better idea.
