Does anyone have a copy of their SC installation manual? DDM seems to have taken it down from their site. Thanks.

I probably can help with that, I will let Ivy know the link is not working on the site also. Just shoot me an email and I can send a .pdf to you, or have the new owner contact me and I can email it direct.

Thanks,
Dave

iHawk needs to buy this

This girl is keeping her eyes open for a Sky Redline.  I need to hurry up and get my taxes done, get my bonus and I'll be ready to buy.  Hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
As long as I don't have to tear the entire roof off my kitchen and redo it.  I might.  Eh...I'll take out a loan for that if I have to.  That will be major $$$.

I did think about this though.  $4K into my Solstice or $15K on a Sky?  Very tempting, but I've wanted a Sky for years and my heart is kinda set on it!

Fawking Kitchen leaks like a sieve because of my bastardized roof!  If you ever buy a Dutch Colonial in a snow area, make damn sure they mated up the roofline right when they put the addition on the back of the house.  I have a spot where the dutch roof comes down right next to the downspout from the roof above.  The downspot drains onto the cathedral roofline of the additon running perpendicular to the dutch roofline that comes in.  So the first thing that happens is all the snow and ice packs into that corner where the downspout and 2 rooflines meet and it just makes a wall of ice and snow up the side of the house.  I thought the problem was the downspout and how it drains onto the roofline, but I think the real problem is how the 2 rooflines meet.  I think it's always been a problem since the kitchen was added on and the previous 2 owners tried to fix it every few years.

My kitchen becomes a rainforest almost every time we get about 4-6" of snow.  I go up on the roof and rake it, clear the ice off, etc.  I've added heaters, but I think the final solution will be to completely tear the roof off the kitchen and slope to the east with the dutch roof rather than have it slope north/south like it does now.

In the meantime, I'll let the ceiling where the addition bulkhead is look like crap for another year until I know for certain it's fixed next winter.  No sense in fixing the water damage more than once, if whatever I do this spring/summer doesn't work.

So I'm kinda like Fawk it...might as well buy a car while I'm at it!

It's kind of sad that your Convertible will repel water better than your kitchen.
