Getting closer to a finished product. (Looks wise)
« on: March 24, 2015, 07:41:14 AM »
I will state 2 things before I open up to constructive criticism:
1. Yes, I know I need center caps
2. Yes, I am in the process of lowering the car with Z0K springs to reduce that awful rear gap
OKAY! Fire away! Tell me what you think, and how I could improve! (I was also looking at those OEM black headlights)

Front license plate needs to go. ZOK springs will lower very little; visually imperceptible.

More items that will improve the looks: black-bezel headlights, get rid of the yellow bulbs in the turn signals (use mirror/chrome bulbs, LED, or just plain clear bulbs), key-colored (the yellow) sidemarkers.

I like the darkened windshield frame. Is there a photo for the rear 3/4 view?

Agreed on the front plate - really kills the looks of these cars.

Z0K springs will lower it (I can tell on my car and others have noticed), but the BC Coil-overs might be better.  Heck even I am considering them now.

Paint it blue

Remove the towel grabbing GM chicklets

Otherwise, it's a nice, clean kappa.

You need to install a net and remove the rust.

Hahaha SA and Critterman got my joke.
The hoop has no net and the pole is rusted
:D

Car looks good.

Have u done anything with the clutch yet?
If not, you MUST get DDMs clutch and short shifter.
Trust me on this.  Both products are freaking awesome

Hahahaha that's coming down soon actually. And YES! I have the short throw shifter! Holy smokes its so solid. That's the way the car should've come! And for now I just bought OEM replacements. Not this summer but next I will install DDM's clutch kit. Because this summer is going to be the turbo upgrade. (Once I start making money again) but that new clutch will just get me by until I can afford the hefty price tag on DDM's.  :drive:

The price on the DDM clutch is worth every penny

You need to buy Kagems 2871
What happened with that?

Critterman,

I was referring to Kagem's 2871 he has for sale.

That's a bummer Johnny.  Typical of how life works sometimes.  I can't count how many times I was about to buy something, or I just did, and then something else broke that was much more expensive, and a requirement to fix.

FYI - I have a K&N Intake and IC Pipes with Silicone fittings and Synapse BOV that will all work with the 2871.  So I can make you a deal on that if you do get Kagems's 2871.

Tell me about it. I'm slowly learning haha. But that sounds great! I don't need the intake but the Tubes, and fittings, sounds great! I would also be getting a BOV from Kagem. I'll be in touch!
