The LST crate engine is worth around half that price.  Looks like the car was very nicely done, too.

And for anyone wondering, he has 265/35R19 tires on that seem to clear.

If Mallett used the correct LS7 manifolds and catalytic converters, this car should be able to get certified and registered in California. The cats are wildly different from the LS2/3 parts, however, so I really question how the LS7 cats would fit!

The VIN number turned up this info, looks like it may have been involved in some type of litigation?  Nevermind, according to a Sky forum member the first owner lost it to the IRS.

The seller posed pics of the exhaust system. Looks like Mallett was using the LS2/3 exhaust pieces (manifolds & cats) with LS7 conversions.

Makes sense, really, the LS7 cats are cylindrical instead of flattened, and would require a lot of work to fit, either chopping up the front frame rails or putting some ridiculous protrusions into the footwells.

In any case, unless you did the work yourself to install the correct exhaust components, this particular car is (and probably all LS7 Malletts are) impossible to certify as smog legal in California. On top of that, while possibly mitigated in the tuning, the LS7 will not make 505 horsepower with the inferior exhaust bits.

It's entirely possible to get the car through, as-is, but since it's not an approved combination of parts, you'd need to prove that it meets requirements (send the car to an emissions testing lab), and not just that you put all the right bits in the right places and they are all functional.
