Sellers ad: Hi

I've got a 2008 Redline, Manual, 74,000 miles, Dark Blue. The motor overheated and it will not run. It has a salvage title. The body is 9/10. It looks great and handled/shifted fine.

Seller is asking $4,000.  I asked if the car was bought w/a salvage title (waiting for a response).  At first I thought it was salvaged out because the motor is kaput, but unless it could be blamed on a manufacturer defect, I don't see a insurance company totaling a car out because they'd probably rule owner neglect.

Skersfan over at skyroadster.com bought the car for $2K.  He has a spare LNF with 25 miles on it just sitting in his garage so it was a pretty good buy on his part.

From what he can tell so far, whoever rebuilt this car and then sold it to the OP seller that was posting this on skyroadster, they didn't do a very good job rebuilding it.  Looks like they just threw it together and dumped it off on someone who didn't know any better.  There was a damaged coolant line going to the turbo that leaked and could have led to air in the coolant plus none of the air ducting was present behind the front bumper. Skersfan is order all the parts he doesn't have and it will wind up being his Wife's car. Still will be into it for a substantially less amount than having found a car that didn't have this kind of history.
