SOLD: Winter tires and wheels
« on: August 29, 2015, 12:36:41 AM »
I have sold my Solstice, so I no longer need the winter tires and rims that I bought for it. The tires are mounted and balanced on the rims, and come with lugnuts. They are ready to bolt on directly to your car. (Note that these do not have TPMS - my car was a 2007 and did not have it)

The tires are General Tire Altimax Arctic, 225/55 R17. They perform very well, my Solstice was absolutely unstoppable in the snow with them on. They have 9/32" tread depth remaining. They had 12/32" when new, so they have plenty of meat on them.

The rims are Sport Edition F10 rims, 17" (17x8 5-110 et55) They should fit a number of GM cars, such as the Cobalt, Malibu, Aura, etc. No nicks or scratches on any of the rims.

My price is $375 + shipping. I paid $880 for these when new. I've found a reasonably priced shipper (shipnex.com), and I can get these to most states in the midwest for $80-90. Text me with your zip code and I'll get you a more precise quote. Or you can pick them up in person in the Burlington, VT area. Call or text me at 352-871-1598 if interested. Thanks! Abi

Wax and dawn dish soap work wonders in the winter.

Good deal on these!  Would be hard pressed to find mounted winters under 500, never mind with that much tread. I'd pick em up if I didn't have a fresh set. GLWS!

I cleaned them up a bit before I put them up for sale. I used Simoniz wheel cleaner, it got the ugly brownish-yellow film that had built up right off :-)
