I have the DDM kit, but they go from the lights directly to the positive connector on the fuse box [Under that Red cover] and a ground on the metal tray.  I don't think they will be the cause, but I am going to 100% disconnect them tonight, because it's something that needs to be ruled out.

I'm thinking that could be a hot wire that runs near the parking light harness and maybe as the hood is raised or lowered a wire could chafe.  Also since you have the door hinge mod you might check wire harnesses in that area too.

As I have to connect and disconnect the battery with the hood up, I can see that the lights come on the instant I put the negative terminal back on.
I did disconnect and rewrap a bunch of the wire loom that was zip tied to the driver door.  I checked all the wires in it to see if any were chafed.  That came up negative.
Ill try some more stuff tonight.

Try resetting your Sky computer system, disconnect the battery for about 1/2 an hour then reconnect and see if the BCM cleared the problem...

Resetting the BCM cleared this up but I still have something back filling electric on the system.
I am going to remove all of the aftermarket stuff to try and keep this from coming back.
It could have been the wind restrictor, or the sequencial lights on the rear tail.

How did you reset BCM? "Cleared this up" means has been fixed?

I had appointment at a dealer to do the Ignition Recall, so I asked them to take a look.  The tech was not able to program a new key fob and thought it was related.  When he checked for codes, the BCM was yelling about the rear brakes.  The tech said he reset the BCM and the lights are acting normal and shut off and stay off.

I had the sequential mod done and I also had the wind restrictor tapped into the brake wire.  I'm past my  Christmas Tree Sky phase, so I removed every piece of aftermarket lighting and wiring on the sky when I got back.  I will get a battery pack for the Wind restrictor as I do like that.

He printed out 3 pages of the electrical wiring diagrams and gave them to me which is awesome.  I will scan those to PDFs at work and get them posted.  He said before he does any work at $105/hr, for me to remove everything that connects to the rear brakes and he will then rescan when I come back and try to recode the Key Fob.
So for now Lusi does not have any Demons again
As such, I removed all of the following

Lusi is a devil
He rules over Demons
Other devils use gremlins to try and undermine him.
