If this happened to me, I'd probably post it up on the forum, and write a negative Yelp review.  I might report it to a state service, but other than receiving an insincere boilerplate response I doubt very much that it would go further than that.

Then due to the timeframe, I'd probably file the whole experience under lesson learned and move on.   Good luck on getting your engine repaired correctly and getting it back on the road.

Have to agree with ChopTop at this point almost three years later it's going to be tough to prove unless you have a ton of documentation and there are a lot of variables that can come into play .
