FS: EFR-6258 Turbo ≈ 400whp
« on: November 17, 2015, 11:13:03 PM »
Hey guys, I am in the process of upgrading *once again* my turbo and am selling my EFR 6258 turbo. It has incredibly fast spool time and pulls crazy strong till redline. We have mine tuned right around 400whp (about 480hp at crank if using a 17% loss) and obviously it can be tuned down to whatever you would like *to protect internals, or any other reason). This is over 200hp more than stock GXP (260hp) and spools so much like stock its unbelievable.

The reason im selling, is because I have upgraded all of my internals and also fueling systems to be able to support even more power. Also, my solstice (135,000+ miles) is no longer my daily driver so I dont necessarily need it to be completely safe power (which I feel the 6258 was very safe).

It has been on my car for less than a year and less than 10k miles, so it is very lightly used. I purchased it new for $1,745 and would like to feel around to see if anyone is interested. Open to offers!

The turbo is currently at Performance Autowerks and was just looked over to make sure it is 100%.

Damn Jesse, why do you tease me so?  Can't even get my initial turbo build wrapped up without seeing another upgrade I want to buy. LOL

I wish.  I need a clutch first. The one I have can't handle the max power I can put out with the setup I have now!

I'm on a stock NA clutch which, even on the best of days, is only good up to about 280 whp. I can get up to about 310 on the 2.4 with the K04.

Someday I'm going to do this. Bump... Did you figure a price?
She's an 09 Brazen GXP.

The issue here is not so much up to JesseB, but what the buyer is willing to pay, after all is a use piece of equipment and the  buyer will take all the risk. JesseB will have to then decide what he is willing to do.
