I have done some research in the sense that agreed the shift forks are weak along with the 3, 4, and 5th synchros.  I have found something that could potentially help,  but is expensive and I'm not sure if it would work 100%. I'm just surprised no one has made an upgrade on the transmission internals for us.  Our maybe it's because sourcing a used transmission is just cheaper. Personally,  I'd Dave up for a fix rather than have to use anot her used trans
