When DDMWorks did my clutch, they had to take a boatload of stuff out so they could drop the transmission.
If I have this correct, you have to do the following
Remove the Exhaust
Remove the tunnel brace
Remove the driveshaft
Remove the Torque arm
Remove the rear differential [Kind of at the same time as the Torque arm
There is a brace under the transmission
Have to disconnect the Slave Cylinder to completely remove the transmission.
Then you should be able to fully remove the transmission
The rear hubs and axle shafts do not need to be removed. The shafts should have enough flex to come out of the diff as it is being lowered.
