Crankshaft Position Sensor
« on: July 01, 2016, 03:06:36 PM »
Anyone had to replace this sensor for a P0336 code?

During a spirited drive today, I was hit with a sudden loss of power along with a check engine light and the reduced power message on the DIC. I was a couple miles from my shop so I drove there and checked it with the scanner and it showed P0336 followed by P0300 and P0304. I know what the codes are and I cleared them but the P0336 popped right back up. Cleared it one more time and it popped up as soon as it was cleared.

I shut the engine off and cleared the code again but it will not restart. Just curious to know if anyone else has had this code and if replacing the sensor fixed the problem.

Thanks!
