Sigh.  I used to have the A6 2.7T  (twin turbo 6-cyl).  Not nearly as fast as the RS but it did have a manual shifter.  I sold it when I bought my Sol.

The nicest interior in a car I ever had.  Better than the modern Audis.  Sob.

Well, get rid of this fast, prepare another one. V8, american, simple and reliable, preferably GM but I won't refuse a Ford or a Hemi.
So, are you sure now? :)

Me too! Unfortunately the last part of your statement probably won't be true for me though.

This is probably true for many men and some of the women on this forum. VAG in this country is coming under intense heat right now because of all the pollution. Big Government is trying to regulate VAG and if they could find a way to put a special VAG tax on the books, they probably would.
I can't blame the Gov't completely. Most of the VAG in this country are great, but there is that small percentage of VAG that cheated and those dirty VAGs are getting all the press.

I hope this never ends.

Had several Volkswagen and Audi cars, forget about that crap. :cloud:

I never had  such problems with my Saturn, like I had with my Audis and Volkswagens.

Here is what BMW means in German: Bring mich Werkstatt = bring me to the garage I need another repair.

You know what is the worst part in the VW scandal? That in their home grounds, in EU, not only that they were forgiven about cheating but they were allowed still to do it until 2020!!!
But this is kept out of the spotlights.

My saturn has had more go wrong than my vw did, and my mothers mk4 Jetta is edging up on 300k with very little over the years. I feel that vag generally has a worse reputation than it deserves, not to say some are nightmares. Always liked these rs6s, one of the best interiors vw has made IMHO, and a killer engine. Glws!

I agree, just because it has a V8, but performance wise, they are very weak for the money and declared power.
