door removal

Someone damaged the paint of my passenger door and it looks like I'll have to bring it to the paint shop.
I don't like the idea of getting it painted while it's still mounted.

Can someone tell which way would be the easiest to remove the door (on which side of the hinge should I take off the bolts).

Talk to the body shop but you might want to blend the paint to the adjacent panels to get a better match.
Just trying to do my part...

Mods: Lose the chicklets, VentureShield, Dual horns, AfterShock spoiler, Weathershield cover, Lil Chromies, Red calipers with black Solstice stickers, Opel GT antenna and Solo GXP-RCD exhaust with a Solo hi-flow cat!
