Hi. New member from Spain
« on: December 22, 2016, 05:37:21 AM »
Hi to all. I`m new to the KPF and, as i said in the title i`m from spain.
I have an Opel GT 2.0 Turbo wich i`m in love with. In a few weeks will have new 20" wheels, suspension, exhaust, paint job (in black) and a few more gadgets.
Just a little introduction of my self and my car to say hello and that i`m very very very happy to be here.

Welcome, Nice looking GT. Where is Spain?

You'll have to forgive Critterman.  English is his second language.  Nobody knows what his first is.

He meant to ask "where IN Spain?"

Are we SURE that's what he meant?

Critter, surprisingly, speaks very good Spanish.

Thanks Scott I missed that.  And you are correct I learned English as a second language in the third grade.  I fixed it in my post.

Tons of thanks to all for your welcome
I`m from the north. A Region called Cantabria. It`s far from the touristic centers ... the main reason why Spain is known. Here, despite of the rain and the cold weather, we have excellent mountain roads to enjoy driving the Opel  ;)

I was in Andalucia for a couple of years.  Great country up north, drove through it on the way to France and England.

I re-present my car.... after work a few weeks on it.
After enjoying it and, seeing that I had some kind of parking knocks in the doors etc ... I thought the car deserved a complete facelift, so I took it to my usual workshop to give a general review. Once there, I preferred review it completely despite how few days i`ve been driving it, but with those sensations in my mind I decided to upgrade entirely to my liking. It was disassembled completely, the mechanical parts was reviewed screw by screw, changed filters, put new suspension (some Bilstein B8 with springs KN) and 20" wheels. In Germany I found a manufacturer of parts for this car, so I put a small rear spoiler, a more sporty diffuser, and some eyelashes in the headlights (I know that this is not the taste of the majority), which, without obstructing the light beam at all, give a more aggressive touch to the front. In addition, a filter KN to give a little more respite to the engine and a magnaflow exhaust, which arrives this week. A whole repaint with better quality of paint than the oem and with ceramic varnish .... I hope you like the result. Without further delay, here are the photos. I feel the quality, but they are thrown with the mobile just taken it out of the workshop.

Those may be the best looking 20" wheels I've ever seen on a sky. They fit perfectly.

Your car is much better looking that Kelu's car.

Nice work!

I also have the eyelashes and I like them ;) other body parts from Germany were way too expensive for me, I had better deals on custom works on my car.
I could see other GT with 20" wheels and I like it, I was scared when I bought my custom wheels to go 20 and I stayed on stock dimensions.

Forget about GJ, he is just jealous about my car, he doesn't have a Kappa anymore, he is just and ex-wannabe.
