Norms new bolt on Solstice fender flare extentions.
« on: March 10, 2017, 01:50:13 AM »
Hello, just finished these. Similiar to Rocket Bunny type, using a combination of double sided tape with screws underneath. Of course these could be bonded and blended as well too. Pictures showing the progression and at the World of Wheels show at Chicago last weekend. Thanks again from Norm

They really DO look good Norm. A few good pics and we could put them up on your site.

Dang Norm.  I've never really seen the whole mold / form / build / attach process before.  Looks like you work in a shop full of some crazy VOCs.  I sure hope you have some great masks or you must go home punch drunk every day!

Work looks great!  Can wait to see these evolve in to readily available parts!

Looks like those could be just the thing for us autocrossers that run 315s. With the bolt-on approach they could go on over fenders that are cut underneath to allow for full wheel travel when lowered?

Looks awesome!

Chris

Since you're having some trouble deciding on pricing you should send me a set for free. After I've installed them I'll advise you on market value. That sounds to me like a fair trade. Of course, after I've put the first set on Rogue my wife might make me buy a second set to put on GXPsy!

Hi Norm - can you post a picture that shows the underside/backside of the extension to see how it mounts to the stock fender? I'm considering a set of these for my GXP if I decide to keep it and run in the CAM-S class. Am curious about how they mount up and whether it's something I could tackle myself (it doesn't need to be show-quality :) )

Cheers!
