LNF to LDK
« on: March 19, 2017, 01:45:07 AM »
Went from an american LNF to a European LDK with a GT2871R turbo. External BOV and all. Throwing a P0033 code. (Turbocharger bypass) Car does not want to build boost. I'm looking into either a blown #41 fuse or potentially just a faulty BOV. Takes?

Cheers

The engines are very close to being the same.

Treat it as if it were an LNF.

The car knows no different.

Related question, what about LHU? The Turbo is apparently "different" but I've never gotten an answer from someone with experience as to if it would bolt up (a la LDK) or not.

LHU would net more availability long term, and E85 supported stock (with fuel injector swap).

Still wish there was an LTG kit, would make life a lot easier a decade or two from now.

The LNF supports E85 with a fuel injector seal replacement.
