Solar Jay

Hello everyone!

My name is Jay and I am a new owner of a 2007 Solstive GXP.  I have had the car now for about a week now and have been very happy with it.

My goals are to have a fun weekend car with Autocross.  Who knows if I move up from that!  Well, I already know how a forum works.  I can use the search function for sure.  I mean, I have been having this same name (Solar) since 2008 for forums haha.

Well, here is a pic of my beauty.  I am second owner and live in South Florida as of now but my interest in cars started with my eclipse at the age of 24.  Yeah, late into the car world.

My old Autocross/weekend car before I lost it in a car accident. 2001 Mustang GT

And finally, the car that got me started into cars 6 years ago.  My 2000 Eclipse GT

Sorry for late response.  I jumped into the roadster because I lost the Mustang in a car accident.  I sure still miss it.  Well, after nearly 3 years of no "fun" car, I checked to see what was in the market and was always interested in the Solstice.  Once I saw an available one and a GXP nonetheless, I had to make the jump.

Welcome, couple of books worth buying to become familiar with the Kappa platform.  Look for used.
Published back in 07, but still worth looking at.

From concept to production.
