Driver Power Seat
« on: April 06, 2018, 07:59:26 AM »
I am in search of a complete driver power seat track assembly including power seat switch. I have a 2008 Saturn Sky Redline, I think all of the power seat tracks are the same.  I do not need the seat cushion, I am going to put the power seat height adjustment under the passenger seat. You can email information to hjwilcox46@gmail.com  Thanks

I have located a seat about 1 hour from home so I hope to get the power height adjustment under the passenger seat next week I post how it goes.

I think you will be the first to do this. Although, it seems like it’s been done??
Make the right choices now

Yeah I don't remember anyone else ever attempting it either. Curious to see how it turns out.

I got the power height adjustment complete.  Much more difficult than I anticipated. It is in and works well I do have concern for the seat cover lasting. I used the original passenger seat cover and cushion with the driver seat adjuster. Fabricated power seat switch bracket, had to punch holes in the seat cover and attached the seat switch in the same holes as original. The seat cover had to be persuaded to fit onto the adjustable seat frame as the attachments are different than the passenger seat frame. The occupant seat sensor is in original  configuration. By using the driver seat frame and maintaining the air bag sensor in the passenger seat I don't feel that I have sacrificed any safety feature.

Sorry, I did not. I may take it back out for some pictures. It is not the prettiest. I am not an upholsterer and did some things to make it work/fit. The seat frames are a lot different with the lift mechanism.
