Selling my 1st 1000 Solstice:

Two years ago, I got hearing aids, and they are very sensitive to wind noise, so I find myself running around with the top up and windows closed, and quite frankly, I no longer get much enjoyment out of driving my Solstice.

My misfortune may be an opportunity for the right buyer. Here is what is for sale, all included:

Location: SE Wisconsin

Details: 6Y000741 - 46,993 miles.

DDMworks Pro-Beam and Backbone (plus original panel)

Extra pair of unpainted (black) grills

KappaShield

KappaSphere Seatbelt Extenders

All First 1000 Items:

Wheels: The polished set is on the car right now.
QF8 - Polished Aluminum W/ Goodyear GS-2 (from a GXP)- 23,243 miles
N87 - Silver painted Aluminum w/ Goodyear RS-A Standard Equipment - 23,750 miles

The car is in good condition, similar cars with like mileage are currently selling in the $10,000 range, without the added extras.  If interested Private Message me with an offer.

Your reason for selling is very understandable but sad non the less. Good luck with the sale and don't get too far away from us.

Just take your hearing aids out while driving.

Just take your hearing aids out while driving.

Unfortunately, you still need to be able to hear in order to drive, so the aids have to stay in.

Thanks for your comment.

That would certainly be a solution, but driving the convertible with the top up and windows up isn't much different than driving a coupe.

Thanks.

I wear earplugs, as do a lot of Motorcycle riders to reduce noise.
You might want to try it for those occasions when you drive with the top down.
Just keep the aids close by if you need to pop them in.

What about wearing something like ear muffs.  Maybe that would eliminate the wind noise but not interfere with your hearing that much?

Hmm, I'll have to try something like that, good thought!

Thanks.

While I appreciate all the discussion of hearing related information, this is a FOR SALE thread in a FOR SALE topic. How about we limit ourselves and our comments to to that subject, thank you!

Since no one contacted me, it'll become my daily driver for the rest of the summer, and the miles will start to creep up. It gets new tires and fluid changes tomorrow.
