The OP's topic kind of got side tracked.

No. Really?   Bwa-haha-haha!

It's a valid topic, just needs it's own thread and the mods can split it off easy enough.

It's own thread would be a good heads up for people interested in the smoothlines carbon fiber option..at least customers can ask about this up front when ordering one of the tops or just know to get it prepped to paint and get it painted.

Had any one that's bought a Smooth Line actually had a Smooth Install?

It seems like they always have problems.

Can you press in the bubbles, like it is a legit sticker?  Or is it hard like actual carbon fiber?

Their website claims it is not a film:
I purchased something like this for my projects: https://www.amazon.com/3M-CF12-BLACK-CARBON-FIBER/dp/B0059715BC

It is indeed a film, so not sure what smoothlines is actually using, my advice is for the CF faux films

Steelmesh, to answer your question..it is solid so very difficult to push in.  I don't know how or if I could repair bubbles like that.

Agreed, I was mistaken thinking it was the standard vinyl wrap material. Vinyl wrap will eventually get harder and brittle when baking in the sun, but you just got this top built recently so rule that out.
