New member greetings
« on: March 18, 2019, 12:16:37 AM »
Hi everyone I wanted to find out just what I can do to help my 07 NA SoL go a little bit better.  I've had my car since last July and really loving it,  done some appearance mods, pin stripes, foot well lighting and got rid of my ugly front licence plate.  Thinking of CAI with cat back exhaust and then a tune just some easy mild stuff that will improve the get up and go.

That's just about all you can do for power modifications. For $1000 your next best incremental improvement is probably cams / springs for the LE5:

If you're really attached to NA performance and want it all, you'll need to go higher compression running E85 or 100+ octane, ported heads, race intake, race header, you're getting into many thousands dollars to get into the mid 200 hp range, unlimited budget you can break 300 hp. Most people just get the LNF turbocharger kit because you'll end up with more power for way less cost.

2006 Solstice #1458, Twincharged LE5/LEA, 5757+M62, Werks exh manifold, Tial bpv/wg, Cams, dual meth, 40 PSI, Kappadapt clutch hose/flywheel bolts/trans mount, Aisin AR5, Stage 5 clutch
Turbo-only power 444whp/422wtrq

2013 Cruze Missile, tuned, 42 lb, ZZP SRI/FMIC/DP/MP/CB, Kappadapt trans mount

There is an alternative Rotex Supercharger instead of the twin screw i have.  You can turbo charge it.  The other would be a twin charge system - turbo + supercharger.  I am happy with what I have at the moment.
