Welcome to the forum.

I know after a few mod meets we needed some meds, mostly for hangovers.

Thanks for the kind welcome!

Not sure I follow the meds references yet.  :idk:

My pics didn't show when I used the IMG button so here's a link.  :idk:

https://photos.app.goo.gl/uksCHLXTJCPEe4DeA

The wife has wanted a Fiero since she was a teen.  I recently saw one for sale and joked about buying it.
She took it seriously...

I consider myself a serial hobbyist, but I'm more of a guitar guy, never really been a car guy.  The work required to restore, or cost enabled me to talk her into something newer.
Started out looking at the Sky, but found a Solstice for a better price and condition.

Because it's her car (secretly my project though) it's an automatic and not a GXP and I'm limited on what I'm allowed to do to it.
First, I'm not allowed to put an LS engine in it.
A turbocharger isn't happening anytime soon either.
I painted the engine cover while it was too cold to do much else.
Then I bought her the sear covers.

I have been able to justify a radio swap to get Bluetooth and Android Auto/Car Play.
And since I was pulling apart the dash I put a backup camera in too,
When I completed to radio hookup the radio didn't power on and the car wouldn't start.
That's when I learned how to replace the battery.  I'm pretty sure it had the original AC Delco battery in it.

Finally I talked her into footwell LEDs.  She didn't like the idea but the phone app sets the color and they work with the map lights so they're not obnoxious, or tacky, in her mind.

I'll be in here quite a bit in the future, always looking for new mods I can get away with.
Top down weather is around the corner, maybe she agree to a wind restrictor next...

Back up camera is a great idea!  Hopefully you can sneak in a nice exhaust system.

For advanced cosmetic enhancements be sure to browse Norm's fiberglass, not sure if you can find a bad review on his work.  http://www.normsfiberglass.com/solstice.html  I have his 430 front bumper and dream about getting the coupe top someday.

I don't have to pretend, just saying.

Seat heaters could be an easy sell to the wife and they are pretty easy to install.

There are a few people on here are have remained rather childish throughout their membership here on KPF... Going on 10 years + and some folks STILL haven't grown up.  (myself included)
