Is that bent steel for the risers and aluminum plate for the horizontal link?

How are those attached to each other?

If those are dissimilar metals they should have been powder coated individually then assembled.

Looks like it would need to be removed to replace the coil pack

what are you doing about clearances under the hood?  It is very tight under there.  My engine would torque up into it under a hard load.  I finally had to remove it.

Yeah, my DDM one rubs the hood blacket :(

Also, be careful of how the wires to the camshaft actuators are routed (don't ask me how I now).  Route them around the sides, not over the top.

Sounds like you all with engine movement problems need stiffer engine mounts  :D

2006 Solstice #1458, Twincharged LE5/LEA, 5757+M62, Werks exh manifold, Tial bpv/wg, Cams, dual meth, 40 PSI, Kappadapt clutch hose/flywheel bolts/trans mount, Aisin AR5, Stage 5 clutch
Turbo-only power 444whp/422wtrq

2013 Cruze Missile, tuned, 42 lb, ZZP SRI/FMIC/DP/MP/CB, Kappadapt trans mount

Very true! First upgrade to any high performance engine. Either better bushings or a limiter for engine torque over such as a chain.
