Short shifter hard stops - shift fork stress

Was talking short shifters at work and an old racer was asking if it (DDM) is adjustable as far as the hard stops to prevent stressing the shift forks.  Is this something we need to worry about with the AR5?

Don't know, but now I'm curious about the Hurst short shifter on my TR6060...
