07 LS2 898HP TT Sky Info?
« on: August 29, 2019, 05:21:41 PM »
So this was posted on FB as being for sale (ended) on Ebay.  Owner says he's put over 100K into it and was asking $28, which is a good price.  I believe folks on here have made comments about this car over the years, but I don't remember reading much about it anywhere.

No, this was a totally different car.  A v8 with twin turbos at the end of the exhaust system.  I remember a writeup on it years ago.

This is not Sky888's   His was a compound turbo setup with everything in the engine bay.

If this car runs and runs well, $28k for a Sky with no damage and all this additional hardware is a nice price.
We need to get a Canadian to have them take them for a test drive.

Shit, I got to put the wheels back on so we can takeoff!

10 year old wheel bearing grease even though it wasn't used much isn't very good.

Bob you are coming with, we will need a local to translate for us.

Sol Asylum I'm not able to make it unfortunately as the igloo is in need of some repair.
Canadian is a language that is best handled with a translator app on your phone. I usually suggest the Microsoft or even Google translator that work quite well for most people.Be sure though that you download the language files onto your phone before you leave the US though because cell towers pretty well don't exist here. They are too hard to build with the permafrost and most of us rely on our sled dogs to relay messages from town to town.
Enjoy your trip and be sure to dress warm, I find that a coat made from the pelt of a polar bear from your last hunt works best along with a nice warm touque.
And you'll want to bring the Beaver.
