Looking for suggestions

Uncovered Bix for the Spring.  Any idea on how to clean these up?  Wasn't like that when I put her to bed last fall.

I don't think there is any way to clean them up, other than to replace them.

:dunno:

Is that on top of the protective film or under it?  If under I suspect you will be replacing.

If it is on top of the plastic, I have used softscrub, headlight polishing compound, and varoius cleaners. the polish used to restore plastic headlamps worked best for me.

This has to be a first, looks nasty John. The only way to fix it may well be to pull it off and relplace it.
Have you tried going at it with a cleaner, a solvent of some sort to clean the dirt? I suspect though that you'd still see the cracks even with removing what looks like dirt down there.

Item # 16 You will need to pick the left and the right if they are available. Or you could buy them all and trade for TP.  :tool:

If ou can't find the parts, try Amazon. They have all sorts of adhesive backed clear vinyl in many different gauges.

Make sure that you get a good quality product though that's UV resistant and isn't going to yellow. Alternately you could go some place locally that installs clear bras and ask for a few scraps as you don't need much. My local shop would give it to me for free as they have in the past but YMMV.
That's assuming that they are still open with everything that's going on around us at the moment...

I will probably have it done once all this blows over.  I don't have a heat gun to get them off and I don't think the wife's hair dryer gets hot enough.

She might get plenty hot if you try. :poke:

Be sure to keep those black plastic pieces at the front edge for reuse.  I believe they are on top of the film.

There was a small clear plastic piece of the same stuff on the bottom of my rocker panel on each side. one was partially scraped off and I removed it with a hair dryer. It came off cleanly and fairly easily with no damage to the paint.

those pieces will not come clean.

You have to take them off.

A few people have taken them off, and did not replace them.
