What's up everybody?

I just recently got into the kappa cars. I managed to find a solstice gxp coupe with 5spd for sale - went to see it and fell in love.

I sold off my '06 vette that had a z51 package for the car!

Then my wife loved it so much we went out a got her an 07 gxp 'vert.

The coupe has 60,000kms, and the vert has only 17,000 kms on it.

Oddly enough the 07 hpfp already blew off the block within about a week of ownership. One of the two bolt heads gave up the ghost, and the pump was sitting at a 10 degree angle pumping for who knows how long, until the seals failed and now that engine is full of gas.....

lol good times ahead I see with these cars! lol oh well.

They sure are a lot of fun when they're working!

Anyway, glad to be on here and learning a lot as I go.

Welcome to the forum!  Glad to hear the car didn't have a thermal event, the first thing I think of when I see a car engulfed in flames is something went wrong with the fuel system in the engine compartment.
