WTB: Sky RedLine/Sol GXP vert manual (PA) ** Bought Redline
« on: December 02, 2020, 11:11:12 PM »
Looking for Sky Redline convertible or Solstice GXP convertible

I'm in Pennsylvania and willing to travel ~12 hours driving distance, and I'm not willing to fly to travel with Covid right now. My purchase time frame will probably start in earnest after December 16, 2020.

This car will be for autocrossing a lot and maybe a track day. If your car is already a race-ready car, I'm looking for it!

I really prefer the Sky for exterior styling, but the right Solstice might be fine.

Must be:
convertible
manual transmission
turbo
less than 100k miles

Would like to have:
GMPP upgrade kit already installed
Z0k suspension
preferred colors: silver, yellow, white

100% OK to have:
aftermarket coilovers, sway bars
DDM suspension parts/stiffener set/front tower brace/etc
scratched up paint (probably will wrap it)
a less than perfect body panel or 2 (minor dents/dings)
a little bit of body rust
any color exterior is probably "fine", except green and burgundy
roll bar already installed
higher than normal interior wear/seat rips/dash scratches (but not OK for non-functioning buttons/levers etc)
ok for radio to not work, aftermarket radio
LDK, big turbo, tune (good tune)
race wing that works
other power/tune mods that work and are professionally done
aftermarket seats

Not acceptable:
bent frame
bent suspension
turbo or engine problems of any kind
busted headlights/taillights
lambo doors
missing catalytic converter
burns a lot of oil
convertible top leaks or problems
electrical problems
mis aligned body panels, or garbage body work from collision
generally anything that would prevent a 12 hour drive home, and generally anything you'd avoid on your own car purchase

PM me or reply on this thread. Thanks.

Oops sorry I should have added that: about 9-11k.  I know I've seen many a very well kept Kappa at 15k+, but given I'm going to beat it a little, I don't want to overspend on a pristine example, or race-car-ify a really nice low mileage example.

2008 Redline, M5, GMPP 290/340 tune. R title but in good enough shape for autocross. See my builld thread on solsticeforum.com for regular updates. Right now its getting new timing chain and guides, radiator, etc.
It's gonna get wrapped, right now its "grey and unfinished".
