vin numbers
« on: August 13, 2021, 11:31:38 PM »
Hi

I have a 2006 Solstice with the last three vin numbers 996
I was wondering how many of the first 1000 production cars were sold in Canada and Ontario

Do you mean the first thousand cars actually manufactured, or the faked first thousand, done for advertising purposes?  There were quite a lot of cars made and sold before the 'First Thousand' cars were issued.
2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe
1958 MGA Twincam (race car)
1962 MGA Deluxe Coupe
1957 Jamaican bodied MGA
1971 Jensen Interceptor
2007 BMW Z4M coupe
Recently sold:
1969 MGC roadster,
1965 Jensen CV8,
1969 Lamborghini Islero S
1988 Pontiac Fiero GT
Bill in BC

How about giving us the "full" last 8 of your VIN?
I'm seeing some holes in my VIN data and am unsuccessful at finding your VIN.
It might be my data or I may be misunderstanding your question.
Thanks.

Disregard my other question: my data set is only US cars, no Canadian cars in my list.

Therefore, I am unable to find your car.

:dunno:

Including Prototype and Pilot Vehicles your car was about the #254 Solstice with the "Export to Canada" RPO.

WHOA!!!  How did you figure that?  And, I hope 254 is the OP's lucky number.
