Are these the JPM loops?  I want to have these but thought they needed to be sewn in.  I was going to go to a mod meet where Joe was present and have him install.  I may have read he changed the design so it did not have to be sewn in.  Is this what you have?  If not can you install?  If either is true, you can install or they are easy to install without sewing in, consider them sold and I will see you at the next get together.

Chuck, they are no longer sewn in like mine, you make a small hole and the actually use a small aluminum screw and cap, they do invlove removing the seat cover but that is pretty easy, you might even be able to do it without removing the seat cover if you had say the hands of a surgeon.

I watched Joe install mine last week and he did not have to remove the seat cover. Very simple job. Took me longer to drive to his shop then it did for him to install them. lol

I do have the hands of a surgeon but unfortunately, the mechanical ability of a tuna.

Any tips on how he did it Kim?

From the way it looked it was very easy. Unzipped the seat and used a razor blade to make the SMALL (really don't go slicing a giant hole in your seat) incision in the place where you want it attached. Do the top first. Then make the loop down to where you're attaching the bottom make another incision and tighten the screws. Make sure to put the seatbelt in the loop before you attach the bottom screw. LOL Really it's that easy. Or at least that's the way Joe made it look. And he did this all while telling me the funniest story ever!!

These are the ones that have a sub-plate inside the seat cover and a screw that fastens them on. (not the sew on type)

How is the trip going?  I am so sad that I could not make it with you guys.  When are you going to do the dragon?  Start a thread on the trip?

Have fun!
