If anyone wants seat tracks with a height adjustment, I have one I don't need. But I will need a set of the normal ones in return.

What is the difference between the two seats? I couldn't discern any from the pictures.

They looked the same although they did have different part numbers and the engineer at the plant said there had been a change made to the design. By looking at the seat you couldn't tell.

There are still a significant amount of cars with a faulty ignition and/or bad airbag sensor on the passenger seat.

That means over 85% of all Kappa's drive around with the original "faulty?" design.

Makes me wonder why I do not read more about people having this issue.

Maybe because the fault turned out to be a loose nut in Bob's case and the rest of the cars were tightened properly.

The change date was told to me by one of the engineers in Wilmington, the one that helped me fix this. The change might have been as simple as adding a little blue Loctite to the bolt or a different torque.
Still no more issues after all this time.

Very well except for the bump last summer.  But that was years of body wear so can't blame that on retirement.  At the moment I am booked, still hope to make it.
