Topic: So review something already!

Any one can post in this forum, and review almost anything. Got a new video camera, or a new lawn mower, a new wife, do a review. Lets us know what you think. I would love to see reviews of things that you don't like so I don't go out and buy one too. I limited the reviews to exclude chemicals, mainly motor oil and detailing stuff. Just because they can be very subjective and we have a detail forum for the detail stuff. So someone review something, you can even review a movie, just don't give it away to the rest of us.

If we get too many reviews that are not related to our vehicles then things are going to start to look as they did before with all the welcome threads.

I don't think that will be an issue, as we have less than 10 in a month so review away, let your opinion be heard! I also have the power to delete stuff don't make me use it.

OK it has certainly not been an issue with people reviewing to many things, has no body bought anything new. Is the economy that bad. Somebody review something, I am sure someone at least has a new lawnmower, maybe a new wife or girlfriend come on folks this helps us all when we share info. By the way ANYONE can write a review even vendors, you can't review your own products but you can review that new pipe bender or lathe, or secretary.

Don't make me review our vendors it could get ugly real fast....

Or how about the new 8 person hot tub I got - not hooked up yet - sitting in my driveway until I build a platform from it, so it would just be a dry visual review. :/

  My DDM race backbone and Probeam are on the way - will paint them to match my calipers and engine cover, then clear coat them and hopefully have them on for the mod meet - so can't review them yet...

Are there guidelines for what can be reviewed? What I mean is does the product or service have to be from a Supporting Vendor?

The only guidelines are no chemicals, you can not review car wash soap but you can review a car wash sponge. No oil reviews. There is just way to many differing opinions on that stuff, you can certainly post about that stuff elsewhere and the first thread in this section has all the rules. Please post away, especially about supporting vendor products but not limited to.
