Struts 'n Springs Dope

OK, I had my wheels off my 2007 GXP today (cooked the showroom F-1s totally at Bowie on Saturday, and got some cool new far more racy shoes for her; review to follow), and wrote down the part nos. on my suspension.

Springs were marked with barcoded tags as follows

Front -- Z813A03 barcode no. 15784872

Rear -- Z814A05 -- barcode no. 15784886

Struts/Shocks were Bilsteins, marked as follows

Front C646

Rear C648

So can we confirm that I do not have a "sport" (Z0K) suspension?  What the hell do I have?  Anyone?  Bueller?

PM Small Dealer on the BB with that info, he'll know.  Or perhaps MomsSol will know?

Wasn't the ZOK suspension only available as a factory option on the club sport cars?  Does your car have A/C?  Power windows?  Leather?  If I recall correctly, the club sport was bare bones with the ZOK suspension, LSD and optional ABS.  No other options could be added (i.e. monsoon, power package, convenience package, OnStar...)

By the way, I'd love to check out your FFR Daytona Coupe sometime

Actually that is not true, the Z zero K option is a factory option, it is very rare on the GXP. It will say Club Sport package on your window sticker. Most of them that were shipped were by special order. Very few dealers installed Z0K upgrades, many lied to sell cars or did not understand the difference between the Sport Package and the Club Sport Package. If you take your car in for the sway bar squeek and they fix it per the TSB, you do not have the Z0K it has different sway bar and different bushings, the TSB does not apply. There is a Z0K differential brace, I do not know exactly what it looks like but it is different from the stock one. It will only be on factory Z0K cars, you can order and install it but it requires you drop the differential.

Here are the Z0K part numbers:
2 front springs / 15906534
2 rear springs / 15906532
Front sway bar / 15224873
Rear sway bar / 15224878
Rear diff. brace / 25922741
Front lower control arms (L & R) / 15224867,68
Rear lower control arms (L & R) / 14224779, 80

Thanks Goat, for this helpful information, which is exactly what I was looking for!!    And thanks for the tip to the BB thread, Critter!

Interesting that there are different lower control arms.  Is the geometry different, or perchance would we be lucky enough that the ZOK ones are adjustable, allowing for quick camber/caster changes in the paddock?

control arms are the same but the lower control arm bushings are firmer on the zok (made of harder material) to minimize flex under racing condition.
Lightweight with no options 2006 stripper ! with added
GXP Z0K SPRINGS, FE3 Bilsteins shocks
GXP Z0K front ant rear sway bar
DDMWORKS stage 2 Eaton supercharger with intercooler
DDMWORKS hi-flow converter and long tube headers.
