Hi All,

Thanks for the welcome.  I have had my '07' GXP since Dec '06'.  It has a bit under 6k on the clock.  I don't drive it every day, only about 1/2 the time.  My round trip commute is 3.0 miles on wonderful, winding, dry, Southern California roads.

I joined looking for info.   I love my car, but......   Since day one the tires squeal/brake loose during low speed turns at intersections.  It is very annoying.  At first I thought the tires were just not sticky enough.  I eventually figured out the LSD is not working properly.  I have had it to the dealer once.  I am about to go again.  Especially since my center console is cracked and needs to be replaced.

When I first read about PUgrade, I thought that an additional 30 hp was not too impressive, but after I realized the my automatic GXP will have 325 lb ft of torque, I am not considering the upgrade.

Those of you that have had the GM PUgrade done on your Redline or GXP, please tell me what you think.

Thanks

Bruce

Bruce, what part of Southern California are you from?  We get some good sized meets going on all the time.  It'd be great to have you as part of the group!  I'm just about 20 miles east of Los Angeles.

There is atleast 1 other person i know that has the GMPP upgrade and he loves it of course.  I myself might have the GMPP upgrade + westers tune very soon.   I have a dejon intake and a solo performance street race exhaust so you can listen to it in person if you'd like if you'd like to know how they sound :)

Amazing.  I live in Hacienda Heights and I work in Whittier.  Telegraph/Carmenita....keep an eye out for my Deep GXP ;)

You wouldnt happen to drive a black sol with a plastic license plate cover thing would you???
Or maybe you are the owner of a black solstice i see parked on Freeman by the industrial area.

Either way, you are extremely close.

Well not only are we close, you probably go right by my office on your way to work.  I am the chiropractor, next to Trader Joe's at the corner of Colima and Whittier.

Mine is Sly/gun metal metallic grey.

lol wow!  Yes i drive by there 2 times every day, to and from work going over colima and west on whittier.
I remember a couple months ago I saw a Silver Solstice pull into the back of the building where you work.
Then when i passed by I looked and I saw that there was already another solstice parked back there!
Did you have a mini meet with someone back there? lol
I've always wondered who the heck that was!  I look at the back parking lot everyday but havnt seen a solstice in there since.

Generally two days of the week, either Mon, Wed, or Fri it is there, but it is usually hidden behind longer larger cars.

Occasionally I drive my silver '94' Infiniti Q45a.  It is my third active suspension Q.  When I have to carry lots of stuff it fits in the Q.

Send me an email at bruce.weiland@verizon.net and I will give you some phone #s, etc.

Critterman,

I have been "crushing bones"/correcting subluxation/reducing nervous system interference for almost 30 years.  It is pretty likely I will be retiring in the next 25 to 30 years.

Yeah Bruce, you don't want to quit too early, you got to reach full potential.  I just wish my insurance covered them.
