Rolling in Second Sol (2009 Wicked Solstice GXP Coupe)
« on: May 07, 2009, 12:06:08 AM »
Moved up today from a 2006 NA Solstice to a 2009 Solstice GXP Coupe.

Only have a few miles on the new baby, but I can already tell a big difference.  Time will tell how great that divide really becomes.  I loved my '06 and it was hard to part with her.  I am sure that will pass with time.  I just hope the new owner wants to be part of the Solstice community.

Looking forward to learning about the GXP model.  Now I will have to apy attention to some of those threads that I have skimmed or skipped in the past.

See you all on the road.

GO_DRVN and the Mrs, I am so happy for you guys.  I know how you loved the 2006 NA Solstice and it was a beaut!  We have had so much fun at the local meets and National Meets.  I cannot wait to see your new Coupe in person.  I have not seen one yet, close up and it would be fun to see yours first in person before any other.  That would be special.  I look forward to getting together to see you guys again and renew are friendship.  It would be great to get all the guys and gals together for another mini-meet.  I remember the last one, the drive in the country where you routed it through my old college town in Marshall.  That was special.  Well, I know you are :woohoo: in the street's and  :drag:   your new :brnout: pride and joy.  I can't wait to see it.

I just absolutely love the new color. Tried to talk my wife into trading ours for a new 09 Sky RL in the same color, just no go. Sure is a beautiful car. Congratulations.

Before I left for work this morning, I snagged that exact picture from your thread on the BB and e-mailed it to myself at work.  I don't have access to the BB at work, but I dig the car so much that I wanted to use your pic as my wallpaper at work.

I hope you don't mind :)

Looking good, after your break in period you gotta go pickup the GMPP LNF / Stage 2 Upgrade. If you thought you liked your GXP now wait till after the GM tune.

What happenned to the rest of your roof?

In the garage, once off their's no place to store it in the car. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Very nice  was looking at one myself, but leaving the top at home was the deal breaker.

Mike

Here's to many rides with the top down, wind in your hair & the  hammer down.  :drag: :brnout: :drive:
