Tuning 101
« on: May 17, 2009, 10:22:17 PM »
If you want to sticky this, go ahead, but I think with so much talk about our cars and the "tune" being the key mod, we should have some explanation on what consists of tuning!!

Tuning 101 (primarily N/A discussion): http://www.importtuner.com/tech/0612_impp_engine_tuning_basics/ignition_timing_terms.html

Feel free to let me know of some me pages and I will add them! :)

Go ahead and copy all 5 pages and paste here.  Leave the reference link for credit.  That way if their site happens to be down, users will still be able to read about it.

Here is an excellent video series called Tuning 101, it uses both the E67 and E78 ECUs as examples along with HP Tuners.
